Meet Dr. Tom Seelhorst

Dr. Tom Seelhorst, a 1981 graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine, lives in Tazewell with his wife Charlene. Their sons, Daniel and Michael reside in Nashville and Atlanta respectively. He owns five dogs himself, Gracie, Joule, Moonshine, Liberty and Crockett (who is also the hospital canine blood doner); and three cats, Jacket, Chekhov, and Chopin. He has been in practice for 33 years and treats exclusively small animals such as dogs, cats, and exotics. Dr. Seelhorst no longer works with large animals; however, he is still available for large animal consults and currently carries a variety of large animal medication.

Christy has been with Seelhorst Veterinary Hospital since September 2009. She has been a veterinary technician for 16 years, and has had many years experience in hospital management and stylish pet grooming. She has 4 dogs and 3 horses and resides in New Tazewell with her family.

Brandy has been with Seelhorst Veterinary Hospital since 2007. She has 2 dogs and 1 cat and reside in Tazewell with her family.
